BAM Clough JV Completes Design, Construction Contract for Ichthys Project

Royal BAM Group announced Tuesday that BAM Clough Joint Venture has completed the design and construction contract for the Ichthys LNG Project’s Module Offloading Facility (MOF) near Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia for client JKC Australia LNG (JGC Corporation, KBR and Chiyoda Corporation).

The MOF was constructed as part of the Inpex-operated Ichthys LNG Project and will be used to offload very large modules to assemble the liquefied natural gas (LNG) liquefaction plant. BAM Infraconsult/DMC was responsible for the design.

Currently BAM Clough is also constructing the Project’s Product Loading Jetty. This project is expected to be delivered to the client on schedule, by the end of this year.

BAM Clough is a 50/50 joint venture between BAM International bv (part of Royal BAM Group) and Clough Limited. This year the joint venture celebrates 50 years of successful partnership and project delivery. BAM Clough has recently added a fifteenth project to its row of major near shore marine projects.
