Lundin Petroleum's Arctic Find Has Good Gas Quality, Unclear on Oil

OSLO, July 21 (Reuters) – Drilling at a hydrocarbon find made in the Arctic by Lundin Petroleum showed good quality for gas but the quality of the oil was inconclusive, the partners in the find said on Monday.

"The test of the gas zone was successful, whereas the test in the oil zone was inconclusive," Det norske said in a statement.

In a separate statement, partner Noreco said the quality of the gas reservoir was good but that the quality of the oil zone appeared to be of lesser quality than that in the first well drilled.
