Applications to MOL's Graduate Program Soar

Hungary's largest energy company, MOL, reported Thursday that it saw a 50-percent increase in the number of applications to its 2014 graduate recruitment program.

MOL said that the number of recent university graduates applying to its Growww program increased to 9,000 – 3,000 more than last year. The firm has now closed its application period for Growww 2014.

Now in its eighth year, Growww offers around 250 entry-level positions to graduates from a range of specialisms that include engineering, IT, business, natural sciences and social sciences.

In March this year, MOL Vice President for HR Zdravka Demeter Bubalo noted that the company has employed 1,350 graduates through the Growww program since it began in 2007, while a number of the firm's current managers have graduated through the program.
