Myanmar expects to sign production sharing contracts awarded under Myanmar's Onshore Blocks Second Bidding Round 2013 in mid-May, later that an earlier timeline planned for January, a ministry of energy official told Rigzone Thursday.
"We are working according to the procedures ... we will sign the production sharing contracts in the middle of May," Khin Khin Aye, director of the Energy Planning Department, Ministry of Energy in Myanmar said.
The Ministry of Energy awarded 16 of the 18 onshore blocks offered in the tender in mid-October 2013.
