Gardline CGG Wins Asia Pacific Seismic Survey, Geochemical Sampling Deals
Gardline CGG Pte Ltd., a Singapore-based joint venture between Gardline Geosurvey and CGG, reported that the M/V Duke exploration survey vessel has been awarded three contracts for 2D seismic survey and geochemical sampling with major companies in Australia and South East Asia. The contracts have a combined duration of approximately 100 days and an estimated value of $10 million. Startup is expected around late May with the projects spread throughout the year.
Gardline Geosurvey and CGG bring together their unique and complimentary expertise, allowing GCGG to offer a single service package to the offshore exploration industry. The Joint Venture operates the integrated multi role survey vessel M/V Duke which can undertake data acquisition from the sea surface through the water column, on the sea bed and sub seabed across the range of marine science disciplines including: 2D seismic, dual cable 3D seismic, rig/platform site investigation surveys, environmental baseline/monitoring surveys, cable and pipe route surveys, shallow geotechnical site investigations, regional swath bathymetry surveys and geochemical sampling.
