'We are delighted to have won these long-term maintenance contracts which represent a significant step in the development of our long-term maintenance business and in our business in South East Asia,' said Allister Langlands, Chief Executive of Wood Group Gas Turbine Services. 'These contracts follow our successful implementation of similar long-term packaged maintenance contracts in other regions of the world. By delivering a broad spectrum of services under the contracts, wholly aligned to the needs of the customer, Wood Group is demonstrating its position as the leading independent aftermarket services provider.'
The two contracts involve the provision of packaged maintenance services, covering component repair, spare parts supply, and onsite services for 12 General Electric Frame 6B gas turbines operated at two power stations in Map Ta Phut on Thailand's eastern seaboard.
John Guidry, Chief Operating Officer of The Glow Group, said: 'We are pleased to award these contracts to Wood Group. These agreements package a broad range of services into a contracting model with the flexibility to provide an efficient, cost-effective maintenance solution for our assets.'
