Norway Gas Outage on Thursday to Last Longer With Smaller Impact

OSLO, April 10 (Reuters) – A Norwegian gas outage taking place on Thursday is expected to last longer, but to have a smaller impact on gas exports than earlier thought, due to a delayed upstart at the St Fergus receiving plant in Britain after planned maintenance, gas system operator Gassco said on its website.

The outage is now expected to reduce exports of Norwegian gas by 10.3 million cubic metres per day, below the 11.3 mcm per day seen earlier, but it will last 16 hours instead of 8.
