Perdana Petroleum's Unit Receives $16M Accommodation Barge Contract
Perdana Petroleum Berhad (PPB), a Malaysian offshore services provider, reported that Intra Oil Services Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of PPB, has accepted a letter of award dated Feb. 17 from Ocean Pro Offshore Sdn Bhd for the charter of one accommodation barge, the company said in an announcement on local stock exchange Bursa Malaysia Tuesday.
The charter for the accommodation barge is for a period of two years commencing Feb. 24, including an option for Ocena Pro Offshore to extend for an additional year.
The primary term of the 2-year contract is worth approximately $15.9 million (MYR 52.0 million).
In January, PPB won a $15.1 million (MYR 50.0 million) contract to provide an Anchor Handling Tug Supply vessel to Talisman Malaysia Limited for one year, with extension option for another one year.
