Gassco: Norway's Troll Field Has Compressor Shut

OSLO, March 4 (Reuters) – One of the compressors processing gas at Norway's largest gas field, Troll, is shut, gas pipeline operator Gassco said on Tuesday. It was as yet unclear what was the impact on the field's gas production.

The outage, which began at 0840 GMT, is expected to last four hours, Gassco said on its website. Earlier, the onshore plant processing gas from Troll, Kollsnes, said it had reduced its power consumption due to supply problems.
