Australia-based maritime services provider Westsea Marine Pty Ltd. announced Tuesday that the company has achieved accreditation for Oil, Gas & Petrochemical Quality Management Certification and became the first Vessel Management Company in the Australasian region to attain the ISO/TS 29001:2010 certification in November 2013. The certificate was presented by a representative of Bureau Veritas to Westsea Marine Dec. 6, 2013.
Westsea continue to exceed industry standards in safety and operational excellence in projects participated. Westsea has successfully implemented its Management Systems complying with ISM, ISO 9001 (Quality Management), OHSAS 18001/AS4801 (Occupational Health & Safety Management System), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) and ISO 29001.

This certification highlights the robustness of Westsea systems and procedures in our offices and on board our vessels. Westsea has been providing vessels in the region to support offshore construction projects and providing logistics services for pre-cast structures, modules, pipes and equipment for various projects in Australia. Westsea is on to its next phase of fleet expansion with 5 OSVs (offshore support vessels) in new building yards and will mobilize the first new building delivery of 3600T Platform Supply Vessel in 1Q 2014.
