Rigzone: What advice do you have for other women vying for positions at refineries?
Day: My advice to other women who want to work in this field is go for it! The doors of opportunity have opened up for woman tremendously in the past 20 years and we should take advantage of that. We should not allow fear to hinder our dreams because so many women have paved the path for our future. They set the pace and broke the barrier. Let's honor them by carrying out our dreams and passions and continue to chart undiscovered water.
Rigzone: In five years, where would you like to be in your career within the oil, gas sector?
Day: In five years, I would like to be right here with Marathon continuing to contribute to one of the best industries in the world.
