Russia-focused Exillon Energy reported Wednesday mostly-positive results from five wells on its West Siberia concession.
Exillon said that its EWS I-71, EWS I-73, EWS I-74 and EWS I-92 wells all confirmed several feet of effective vertical net oil pay, although the fifth well – EWS I-80 – did not show sufficient quantities to oil to justify connection to the firm's production facilities. EWS I-71 flow tested at up to 943 barrels per day, while EWS I-74 and EWS I-92 flowed at 897 bpd and 62 bpd of oil respectively.
Exillon is awaiting results on two other wells in West Siberia: EWS I-93 and EWS I-75. The first of these wells is currently under completion, having encountered approximately 16 feet of net pay, while EWS I-75 has reached its target depth and is expected to be in production by the end of October.
The firm also reported that its average daily production for the third quarter increased to 16,643 bpd, compared to 15,737 bpd during 2Q 2013.
