Sound Gets EIA for Casa Tiberi Gas Field

Italy-focused Sound Oil reported Friday that it has received formal approval of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for its San Lorenzo production concession in the Marche region in the east of the country.

San Lorenz includes the Casa Tiberi gas discovery, where the firm tested a well at a rate of 26,250 feet per day in March 2012.

Sound said that it expects the award of the concession will occur during the fourth quarter of 2013.
