Statoil's Gas Output to be Cut by 16.8 Mcm/D on Sept 21-23

OSLO, Sept 20 (Reuters) – Statoil's gas output will be cut by 16.8 million cubic metres per day on Saturday and Sunday, the company said in a market message on its website on Friday.

The country's gas system operator Gassco said previously the output from the Norwegian continental shelf will be reduced by 25 mcm per day for the same period.

While Gassco declines to identify fields where the maintenance is taking place, the volume suggests it may be Statoil's operated Oseberg field.
