AGR Wins Norwegian Petroleum Directorate Contract

Oilfield services provider AGR Group reported Friday that it has won a "major" two-year contract with the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD).

Under the agreement, AGR's Norway-based Reservoir Management Team will deliver services within geology and reservoir engineering, including reservoir modeling, petrophysics, reservoir simulation and increased oil recovery.

Morten Heir, AGR's vice president of reservoir management, commented in a statement:

"We are very pleased to have been selected to deliver this important frame agreement and to continue our excellent working relationship with the NPD.

"The award of this contract again demonstrates the confidence the directorate has in AGR’s reservoir engineering and geology expertise and the experience and professionalism of our team."
