Singapore-listed Mirach Energy Limited announced that following the announcement July 24, the company has commenced a new drilling program of new infill wells slated for 2013 at the Kampung Minyak oil field in south Sumatra, Indonesia.
The first well that was spud Aug. 9 was Kampung Minyak-607 (KM-607). Mirach's drilling team has since drilled the first section of the well down to a depth of 400 feet (122 meters). The targeted drilled depth is 1,476 feet (450 meters) and is expected to be completed in two weeks.
The drilled results will be announced accordingly.
