Galp Energia Sees Decline in 2Q Production

Portugal's Galp Energia reported a trading update Tuesday that showed a slight decline in its production during the second quarter of 2013.

Galp's average working interest production during the second quarter was 23,400 barrels of oil equivalent per day – down half a percent on that for 1Q 2012.

Galp also confirmed it has seven wells in progress across Brazil, Mozambique and Namibia. It has two wells planned to spud during 4Q 2013 offshore Brazil, one each offshore Mozambique and Namibia during 3Q 2013 and three offshore Angola during the second half.
