SeaBird Bags Asia Pacific Seismic Deal
SeaBird Exploration Plc announced that Aquila Explorer - a 2D Long Offset/Source vessel - has received a letter of award from a company in the Asia Pacific region. The contract has an estimated duration of 30 days with a value of approximately $3 million. She is currently working for a national oil company in the region on a 30 day contract with an estimated value of approximately $3 million.
The Harrier Explorer - also a 2D Long Offset/Source vessel - is scheduled to complete the Snøspurv multi-client project around July 10. The Snøspurv survey was completed significantly ahead of schedule, with an average production rate of around 109 miles (175 kilometers) per day. The vessel will next mobilize to commence a 3,107 miles (5,000 kilometers) contract survey for a multi-client company with an estimated value of approximately $4 million. The survey has an estimated duration of 45-50 days.
