Jubilant Well Successfully Flows Gas

Southern Asia-focused Jubilant Energy reported Monday that a Notice of Discovery has been submitted to the management committee of Tripura Block AA-ONN-2002/1 and the Government of India following successful testing of the Middle Bhuban formation in the North Atharamura-1 well on the block.

The well is the second exploratory well of the two-well Phase-II minimum work program for the block, said Jubilant. The well was spud on February 12 and reached its total depth of 11,155 feet on May 17.

A discovery within the well flowed gas at 1.7 million standard cubic feet per day on a 24/64-inch choke.

Jubilant holds a 20-percent participating interest in the block, where it is the operator.
