ExxonMobil: Kearl Oil Sands Project Remains On Target
Exxon Mobil Corp.'s effort to expand its Kearl oil-sands project in Canada is 30% complete, and remains on target for start up in 2015, Chief Executive Rex Tillerson said Wednesday.
Speaking to shareholders at the company's annual meeting, which was webcast from Dallas, the executive also said Exxon's Papua New Guinea liquefied natural-gas project is on schedule for start up in 2014.
Both projects are part of 31 major project startups the company has scheduled for the 2012-2017 period.
