Falkland Islands explorer Borders & Southern announced Tuesday that the Ramform Challenger has completed the company's 3D seismic data acquisition program in the South Falkland Basin,
Borders said the data will now be processed by the Ramform Challenger's owner – Petroleum Geo-Services – and a fast-track product will be available for interpretation in about three months.
Borders estimates that the final, depth-processed data will take approximately nine months to be delivered but work will commence on well planning using the fast-track data once it becomes available. Ultimate well locations will be selected using the final product, the firm added.
