Unocal Makes Management Changes for Far East, Canada Operati
Unocal
Unocal has made a series of management changes that are expected
to improve the company's marketing and business development activities. The
changes will become effective July 1, 2004.
Randy Howard will become senior vice president, Global Gas, based in El Segundo. In his new role, Howard will work closely with the Unocal business units and gas marketing staff to enhance the company's position in global gas markets and assist with new gas sales agreements. Howard has been vice president, International Energy Operations, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam since 1999.
Steve Green will succeed Howard as vice president, International Energy Operations -- Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam. Green will be based in Bangkok.
Don Hansen, will succeed Green as vice president, International Energy Operations with responsibility for the company's activities in West Africa, Latin America, Caspian region, China, Europe, and Canada. He is currently president and chief executive officer of Northrock Resources, a wholly owned Unocal subsidiary in Calgary, Canada. Hansen will be based in Sugar Land, Texas.
Dave Pearce will be named president of Northrock. He is currently senior vice president, Exploration and Production, and chief operating officer for the Canadian subsidiary. Pearce will remain in Calgary.
