Target Energy Starts O&G Production at Darwin-1 well

Target Energy advised Tuesday that oil and gas production has started at the onshore Darwin-1 well in the company's Fairway Project in West Texas.

Darwin-1 was brought online Jan.18, following the hook-up of the well to the local gas gathering system. The well is presently producing around 140 barrels of oil per day and 170 thousand cubic feet of gas per day.

Target's Managing Director said: "Work continues at our Darwin-2 and Sydney-1 wells. We have a completion rig at Darwin-2 and expect to start testing soon. At Sydney-1 we have just brought a replacement for the original drilling rig which was experiencing persistent repairs. We are already back to drilling there and look forward to the results from that well."
