Scott possesses nearly a decade of business-to-business marketing and communications experience, with the majority of her work history in the upstream oil and gas industry. She most recently served as a marketing/communications consultant for several corporate clients in the E&P industry. Prior to that, she served four years in the marketing/communications department for the Society of Petroleum Engineers, where she marketed many of the Society’s products and services, as well as the annual Offshore Technology Conference, the offshore oil and gas industry’s premiere event.
Scott is a long-time member of the American Marketing Association (AMA) where she has been a member of the both Dallas/Fort Worth and Houston chapters. Currently she is an active member of the AMA Houston chapter, and serves on the AMA Energy Special Interest Group Committee, whose purpose is provide marketing sales professionals working in the upstream, midstream, downstream, regulated and deregulated energy industries the opportunity to network and exchange ideas with peers, learn best practices, and focus on industry trends and key challenges facing the energy industry.
Scott is a graduate of Abilene Christian University (Abilene, Texas, USA), with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing. Additionally, she has completed advanced education and training in such subjects as marketing, communications, and management from Southern Methodist University (Dallas).
