3Legs Welcomes New CEO
3Legs Resources plc announced the appointment of Kamlesh Parmar as CEO.
Kamlesh Rameshbhai Parmar (aged 42) has been with the 3Legs Group (the "Group") since its activities commenced in 2007 and has previously held the position of Group Commercial Director and Poland Country Manager. He has overseen all aspects of the Group's operations in Poland since inception and, in particular, has managed the successful relationship with ConocoPhillips.
Mr. Parmar has achieved recognition both for the Company's achievements in Poland and for his own contribution to the development of the shale industry in Poland, being awarded "Professional of the Year" at Poland's inaugural Shale Gas Awards gala in 2011. Mr. Parmar is also one of the four members of the Management Board of OPPPW, the Polish upstream oil and gas industry association.
Mr. Parmar is currently a director of the 3Legs group of companies, as well as Darley Energy Poland Sp. z o.o., Darley Energy Plc, Tapar Limited and Tapar (PF) Limited. Within the last 5 years, he was previously a director at Castleford Mining plc and Cowley Mining plc.
Mr. Parmar currently holds 3,411,916 shares representing 4.02 percent of the issued share capital of the Company.
Peter Clutterbuck, outgoing CEO, has informed 3Legs of his intention to resign his position as a director and CEO of 3Legs, in order to pursue other business interests.
