Norwegian Energy Company (Noreco) announced that the tow of the FPSO Voyageur Spirit from the Nymo yard to the Huntington field commenced Sunday, in line with plan. Production start at the Huntington field is expected before the end of the year.
The Huntington Field is located in license P1114 in the UK part of the Central North Sea. E.ON Ruhrgas UK E&P is the operator and owns 25 percent of the license. Noreco owns 20 percent. Other partners are Premier (40%) and Carrizo Oil & Gas, Inc. (15%).
