Northumberland Resources Takes Stake in Kansas Lease

Northumberland Resources, Inc. has acquired a 35% working interest in the Sanders Oil Lease located in Stafford County, Kansas, a 160 acre parcel of five wells situated on historically proven oil producing leases. Of the five wells, one is a salt water disposal well and the other four were producing wells. The Company plans to bring four of the 5 wells online later in 2012 that will add to our daily production numbers. The Company also purchased a 12 1/2% working interest in the Asmussen Oil Lease, a 70 acre oil lease situated in Butler County, Kansas. This purchase includes one producing well and one water disposal well.
