change text size

Rialto Energy Ltd. provided the following update on the drill stem testing of the Gazelle-P3 ST2 well announced on June 25, 2012. Rialto is the operator (85% working interest) of the Gazelle field located on CI-202 block offshore Cote d'Ivoire.

Following the successful completion of wireline logs, vertical seismic profiling and sidewall coring operations on the Gazelle-P3 ST2 well, the drill stem testing program has commenced. The program involves the perforating of the Upper Cenomanian (UC-1) oil reservoir zones then sequentially perforating and co-mingling the gas and condensate portion of the UC-1 reservoir, and is expected to take approximately two weeks.

After completion of the drill stem testing Rialto intends to suspend the well to allow for future completion as a Gazelle Field production well.
