Expro Strengthens Middle East Ops
Leading international well flow management company Expro has announced two key appointments to cover business activities across the Middle East and North Africa. Hatem Speta joins as product line manager and Ossama Amin has been appointed as early production facilities manager.
Mr. Sbeta's remit will include driving activity in terms of well intervention and slickline which look set to be growth areas for the business in the region in the months ahead. He joins from Schlumberger where he spent three years as a well test specialist, spending time in Libya, Italy and the UAE.
Mr. Amin will be targeting MENA where there is growing demand particularly for EPF projects. His career began as a field engineer working in both Egypt and Libya, working for Geoservices and then SAPESCO. He joined Expro's business development team in KSA in 2011 and then spent time in Iraq as business development manager.
Expro's business development manager for the Middle East and North Africa, Hussein Elsisi, said: "We are delighted to announce these two senior level appointments which will enable us to strategically develop our offering in key markets. In the last year we have seen growth across the MENA region, particularly in Algeria, Libya, Iraq and KSA.
"The appointment of Ossama and Hatem has strengthened the management team and we are now extremely well positioned for strategic growth in the second half of 2012."
