UniversalPegasus International (UPI), a world leader in engineering, project management and construction management for the energy industry, has named Philip Luna as Chief Executive Officer. Interim CEO, Mr. Bob Deason, will remain as Executive Chairman of the Board.

"I have known Philip for many years and throughout his career he has demonstrated strong leadership and management skills, spearheaded improvements in company performance, and championed innovative approaches to meet client needs."
Luna has more than 30 years of engineering and construction management experience with a substantial portion of his career spent in the hydrocarbon transmission and production industries. He joins UPI from Jacobs Engineering where he held various positions, including Vice President of Business Development, Vice President of Projects and Vice President of Operations in Baton Rouge, La.
Prior to his service at Jacobs Engineering; Luna served as Vice President and General Manager of CDI Engineering. Luna began his career with ExxonMobil and has also completed work with Enterprise Products Company and Fluor Corporation.
