Woods Group Wins $1.85 Million Contract from Saudi Aramco

Wood Group Production Technology has been awarded a contract worth $1.85 million to supply Saudi Aramco with downhole gauge monitoring equipment for the Al Qatif, Haradh, Ain Dar and Shedgum fields in Saudi Arabia.
Wood Group Production Technology has established an office in Dammam, Saudi Arabia to service Saudi Aramco and other oil companies operating in the Middle East.
"We are delighted to have won these awards and hope to further develop our relationship and business with Saudi Aramco in Saudi Arabia." said Petter Birkeland, General Manager of WGPT in Europe and Middle East.
The installations are expected to be completed within six months, beginning in May 2004. The monitoring systems for Saudi Aramco will use the successful ROC™ technology, which has a good record of reliability in the field.
