Parker Names New Business Development & Global Sales Mgr.

Parker Drilling Company has appointed Frank "Joey" Husband IV as director, business development and global sales. In this capacity Husband will be responsible for worldwide business development, contracts and marketing efforts for the company's contract drilling business segment.
Prior to joining Parker Drilling, Husband spent 20 years with Schlumberger Ltd. in a number of managerial and leadership assignments in both operations and marketing. In his most recent assignment with Schlumberger, he served as marketing manager for North and South America in the Drilling and Measurements business unit. Mr. Husband earned a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Louisiana State University in 1983.
"Joey will be an excellent addition to our management team," said Robert L. Parker Jr., president and CEO. "His business development and marketing expertise will be instrumental in the continued growth and development of the Company. "
Parker Drilling is a Houston-based global energy company specializing in offshore drilling and workover services in the Gulf of Mexico and international land and offshore markets.
