Bergen Subsidiary Wins Ekofisk Hook-Up Contract
Bergen Group Offshore on Tuesday announced that, through its subsidiary Bergen Group Rosenberg AS, it has been awarded the contract for the Hook-up of ConocoPhillips' new Ekofisk 2/4L platform. The contract value for the project is about NOK 175 million (US $30.5 million), and will generate activity during 2012 and 2013.
In 2009 Bergen Group Rosenberg signed a frame agreement with ConocoPhillips (Norway Capital Projects) for larger modification work in the Greater Ekofisk Area. Today's awarded contract is part of this agreement. The activities will mainly be executed offshore in the North Sea in the summer/fall 2013 with a final delivery to client in the third quarter of 2013.
