Petrobras reported that at around 2:30pm local time, the Alaskan Star semisub, which is managed by Queiroz Galvao, was listing slightly after a fire started in one of the rig's columns. The rig was reported to be listing as much as three degres from normal after the fire. There were no casualties among the 102 workers onboard and no oil was spilled into the ocean.
