Sawtooth Set to Double Production at Redwater

Gary Waters, President of Sawtooth International Resources reports that gas production in its core area of Redwater/Fort Saskatchewan will substantially increase. Tie-ins are currently underway for 4 new gas wells, consisting of two new drills and two recently completed workovers. The wells which in total tested 3.0 mmcf/d (500 BOED) will initially be produced at a restricted rate of 300 BOED. This will double Sawtooth's current production rate from 300 BOED to 600 BOED.

Sawtooth's land holdings, which approximates 17,760 gross acres (predominately 100% W.I.) and its extensive gathering system at Redwater/Fort Saskatchewan in Canada position the Corporation for continued growth in 2004. The Corporation has acquired a significant amount of trade seismic data and has also recently conducted a 2-D and 3-D seismic program. Pending the results of the programs the Company may drill up to 10 wells in the area this year.
