Woes in Middle East Continue to Prop Up Crude

Brent set a record Thursday in Euros touching EUR 93.60 during the day. The previous record in Euros was set in July 2008 when Brent reached EUR 93.48. In dollars, April Brent settled at $123.62 per barrel, up 72 cents compared to Wednesday's finish.

West Texas Intermediate crude also traded higher. April futures on the NYMEX settled up $1.55, or 1.5%, to $107.83 per barrel.

Gasoline has begun to weigh on the mind of consumers. RBOB, March reformulated gasoline blend, gained 3 cents to finish at $3.11 per gallon.

Natural gas did not participate in the rally. The March contract for Henry Hub settled down 1 percent to $2.621 per MMBtu.
