Norway's Bridge Energy reported Thursday details of the four new licenses that it won in the recently-announced Norwegian licensing round.
Bridge said that the licenses are all located close to its existing Norwegian license areas in the Norwegian North Sea.
Of the four new licenses, Bridge has been made operator on one: the PL629 license, where it is also has been awarded a 40-percent interest (other partners include Concedo, Centrica and Faroe Petroleum with 20 percent each).
On the other licenses Bridge has been awarded 30-percent, 20-percent and 15-percent interests in PL494C, PL623 and PL617 respectively.
"We are extremely pleased to have won these licenses, which deliver significant additional prospectivity to our portfolio. The partners and level of equity we hold in these new licenses are significant and prove the capability of our technical team," said Bridge Energy Norge managing director Alfred Kjemperud.
