Flint Energy Awarded Suncor Firebag Phase II Project

Flint Energy Services has been awarded the fabrication and modularization contract for Suncor Energy's Inc. Firebag Phase II project. The Firebag Phase II project is a continuation phase of Suncor's steam assisted gravity drainage (SAGD) oil sands development project located near Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada.

The awarding of Suncor's Firebag II heavy oil project follows Flint's successful completion of the fabrication and modularization services work performed for Firebag Phase I. Phase I and Phase II, once complete, will have a combined production capacity of 70,000 barrels per day of bitumen.

Construction being managed by Flint will commence immediately on 56 pipe- rack modules at Flint's Sherwood Park fabrication facility. Completed modules will be delivered and installed at the Firebag site by the fall 2004. Flint will also construct 2 additional well pads that will be required on site.
