Encode Software Solutions has been awarded its first contract outside of the UK and Ireland by Australian headquartered oil and gas company DHS Oil International to the value of £110,000.
DHS Oil International has awarded the contract to Encode for the provision of Microsoft's business management system, cutting edge intranet and customer relationship management (CRM) system to support its new Dubai base.
Encode's oil and gas specific product, Dynamic Platform, was developed by its team of consultants to meet the needs of the energy sector. It allows firms to have full visibility of all business information from a prospective sale to invoice and delivery.
Paul Wilkie, CEO, DHS Oil International said, "As a global business focused on technology-driven results it is essential we understand how the company is performing through accurate business information. We had a positive referral for Encode and although based in the UK, we felt the team and expertise met our requirements in the Middle East and we are looking forward to working with them."
Mike McLeish, managing director of Encode said, "We are delighted to have been chosen by DHS Oil International to supply our NAV-based Dynamic Platform, SharePoint and CRM systems to support its Dubai HQ and remote locations globally. This is a major coup for us as it is our first contract outside of the UK and Ireland.
He added, "To have won this contract over major Dubai and UK-based companies who are well-known throughout the industry proves the strength of our products and service, and has increased significance as the connection was made through an existing satisfied client in the oil industry."
