Production Resumed at CNOOC's BoZhong Oilfileds
CNOOC announced its BoZhong 28-2 South (BZ 28-2S) oil fields, which suspended operation this past April, has re-commenced production.
The oil fields were suspended due to a malfunction that occurred on the single point mooring system of the Haiyangshiyou 102 FPSO. Production of BoZhong 28-2 South reached a level of about 39,000 bopd.
The BZ 28-2S project consists of four fields, including BZ 28-2 S, BZ 28-2 SN, BZ 34-1N and BZ 29-4.
