Argos Completes Seismic Acquisition in North Falkland Basin

Argos Resources announced it has completed the acquisition of 3D seismic data over the entire area of its PL001 license in the North Falkland Basin.
A total of 349,654 acres (1,415 square kilometers) of 3D data was acquired, including a halo outside the license boundaries and tie-ins to key wells. A high priority area was pinpointed and is being processed for interpretation and prospect mapping by July 2011, with the intention to drill in late 2011/2012 using the Ocean Guardian semisub, stated the company.
Argos is also acquiring additional 3D seismic data in open acreage to the north of the license to identify additional prospects in the basin.
