Petrobras Confirms High Productivity in Guara
Petrobras announced a formation test in the first Guara area extension well, 3-SPS-69, flowed 6,000 barrels per day of oil. The initial production potential is approximately 50,000 bopd from the presalt formation.
Petrobras is now drilling a second extension well, Guara Sul (3-SPS-82A), about 4 miles (7 kilometers) south of the Guara discovery well. Guara is located in Block BM-S-6 about 186 miles (300 kilometers) off the Sao Paulo state coast.
