Flint Energy Services Acquires Western Slope Oilfield

Flint Energy Services has successfully completed the acquisition of Western Slope Oilfield, Inc. ("Western Slope"), of Rifle, Colorado. The transaction is valued at a maximum US$3 million, with a certain component of the consideration dependant upon operating results within the first two years after acquisition.

Headquartered in Rifle, Colorado since 1991, Western Slope is an oilfield services company that serves the petroleum and energy industries performing primarily roustabout work, installation, operation and maintenance services for pipelines and small facilities, as well as general oilfield maintenance services. Western Slope's operations will be integrated into Flint's Production Services business unit.

Brian Butlin, President and CEO of Flint stated, "The acquisition of Western Slope provides a strategic opportunity for Flint to capture additional revenues from its current customers by expanding into an area in which our customers are working, but in which Flint did not previously have operations. We expect that combining the existing operations of Western Slope with Flint's people and experience will help to expand Flint's field installation, maintenance and pipelining operations in this area of Colorado".

Butlin added, "This acquisition reflects Flint's on-going intention to grow through geographic expansion and the ability to deliver a full scope of midstream production services to its customers".
