BG Group's Board Member to Retire
BG Group announced that Lord Sharman will be retiring from the Board at the conclusion of the Company's Annual General Meeting to be held on May 12, 2011.
Commenting, BG Group's Chairman, Sir Robert Wilson said, "I would like to express the Board's thanks and appreciation for Lord Sharman's support and advice over the past ten years. We have benefited greatly from his important contribution."
Lord Sharman, 68, joined the Board in October 2000 and served as Chairman of the Audit Committee until December 2010, when he was succeeded by Mark Seligman.
