Providence Contracts Polarcus for Seismic Acquisition in Porcupine Basin

Providence Resources and Polarcus have signed an agreement for the acquisition of 3D data in the Porcupine Basin, offshore Ireland.

The 49,421 acre (200 square kilometer) survey is planned to commence in 3Q11 and should run for 15 days.

Providence operates Frontier Exploration License (FEL) 4/08 (32%) on behalf of its partners Chrysaor E&P Ireland Limited (60%) and Sosina Exploration Limited (8%).
