Petrobras has temporarily suspended the production of the Extended Well Test in the Guará area, in Santos Basin.

The production in that area is executed through a dynamic positioning platform called Dynamic Producer. Since last Sunday, this platform had been under maintenance, the well was shut and all the safety conditions were entirely met. Yesterday, however, there was a rupture of the pipeline which interconnects the platform to the well. There was no oil leak into the sea, since the well was shut and, therefore, there was no oil and gas in the pipeline.

The competent authorities have been duly notified. The well remains shut. The causes of the pipeline rupture are already being investigated. After this assessment and with the production system back in order, the necessary steps to restart this extended well test will be taken.
