InterMoor Awarded Mooring Project Offshore NZ

Shell Todd has awarded InterMoor a preset mooring project for the Ruru field offshore New Zealand. During the month of February, InterMoor completed the design, engineering, procurement and installation services for preset moorings in the Ruru field. Additionally, once drilling operations are completed, the company will provide the same services for the recovery phase. Eight preset mooring legs were pre-laid and hooked up in a water depth of about 344 feet (105 meters). This operation occurred on the Noble Discoverer drillship. Ruru is located about 25 miles (40 kilometers) off the South Taranaki coast and straddles both the Maui Production License and the adjacent Petroleum Exploration Permit (Ruru, PEP 381203).
