Wintershall Granted Consent to Drill in North Sea

The Petroleum Safety Authority has granted consent to Wintershall Norge ASA to carry out exploratory drilling of well 35/12-4S & A using the Songa Delta semisub. The well will be drilled in Production License 378 in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea in a water depth of 1,181 feet (360 meters). Drilling is scheduled to start in March 2011 and will last for 43 days.
