Micron Enviro Systems Inc. is pleased to announce that Nabors Drilling has been awarded the contract to drill the Coalinga Nose Prospect. The Nabors crew and rig have come over from the recently drilled Anadarko East Lost Hills No. 4 Well. The well on the Coalinga Nose Prospect is scheduled to commence on June 25, 2001. The Coalinga Prospect is a parcel of 8,730 acres of leased land located in Fresno County, California. The property consists of 3,480 acres that is a 75-25 joint venture with Greka and 5,250 acres that is a 50-50 joint venture. The primary target is the Cretaceous Brown Mountain Sandstone Formation. The 3-D seismic data acquired from Chevron, identified four positive amplitude anomalies interpreted rights and interests as potential gas bearing structural-stratigraphic reservoirs. This property is situated directly between a 503,000,000 barrel oil field and a field that has produced 2.9 Trillion Cubic Feet of Gas and 458,000,000 barrels of oil. This field is adjacent to a blow out well that was estimated to be flowing at 300,000,000 feet of gas per day and took over three years to contain.
