Titan Oil & Gas, Inc. is pleased to announce it has acquired certain petroleum and natural gas rights to an additional 632 acres in southern Alberta. The acquisition increases Titan's Alberta land holdings to a total of 5,060 acres.
"We continue to strengthen our Alberta land package with properties in highly-productive regions of the province. Our latest acquisition is near our existing Atlee-Buffalo project and several majors operate in the area," says Jarnail Dhaddey, President of Titan.
Titan now has eight land parcels located in the Atlee-Buffalo, Bow Island, Eyremore, Retlaw and Taber regions of Alberta. In addition, Titan also owns a 2.51255% working interest in an oil well located in Alberta and has acquired interests in two petroleum and natural gas leases in the province of Saskatchewan. The total area covered by the Saskatchewan leases is 326 acres.
"We have a very active 2011 planned. We look forward to advancing our projects over the next few months and will continue to aggressively look for additional acquisition opportunities," said Mr. Dhaddey.
